This vintage Sears Roebuck sewing cabinet came to us without the sewing machine inside. We decided to give it a makeunder by sanding it back to its original form, cleaning up the hardware and spraying it black, and adding a small shelf inside for better storage and functionality. The shelf has been lined with a soft print to add a subtle bit of character. The entire piece has been sealed with satin polyurethane. Hide items in the cubby by opening the front of the cabinet (which closes with a magnet) or by swinging open the top where the sewing machine used to be. Measuring 22½" wide, 18" deep, and 31" high, this would be great for a smaller spot, or even in a kitchen (see last photo). Top measures 44½" wide when open. Available for pickup in Windham.
