If this table could talk, oh the stories she would tell! Hailing from the late 1890s, this antique treadle sewing machine is a "Queen", manufactured by White. When she made her way to us, the sewing machine portion had already been removed and the top veneered to turn it into a table. Painted in Shackteau Interiors Sea Smoke, this piece is fairly rare. The drawers have a quilted pattern and the hardware is original, although we do believe it was painted somewhere along the line. The side leaf comes up for extra space and all drawers slide smoothly. There's even some original spools of thread inside the top middle drawer. Measuring 32" wide with the leaf down (45" wide with the leaf up), 17" deep and 29.5" tall, this piece would be perfect as an accent table, console table, or entry table. The top has been sealed with polyurethane and the body has been treated with a lavender salve to help seal the paint and refresh the wood. Available for contact-free pickup in Falmouth!
