Made by Carolina Wood Products Co. in Asheville, North Carolina, this vintage petite oak buffet is beautiful and timeless. We sanded the entire piece (inside the cabinet doors, too) down to natural oak wood grain. Removing the original trim and details on the backsplash brought the buffet up to date from a style perspective. We also removed a small drawer that ran the width of inside the cabinet to make the storage space more functional. After some structural repairs and a good cleaning, the entire piece got a very light whitewash.
 
We painted the inside of the cabinet in Silky Blue, a medium dark blue with gray undertones by Melange Paints. The exterior of the buffet has been sealed with a satin polyurethane for just the right sheen, and the new white and gold ceramic teardrop pulls are the icing on the cake for this gorgeous piece. The doors open and close well with the original roller latch hardware. The buffet measures 37" wide, 19" deep, and 40" high with the backsplash. The backsplash is removable if desired. The buffet measures 35½" to the top without the backsplash. The inside cabinet storage height is 10". This piece is the perfect coastal farmhouse style and would be beautiful in a variety of spaces, for a number of uses in any home! Available for pickup in Falmouth.
