This stunning, antique, natural wood empire dresser is a must-see in person! Formerly covered in layers of veneer and a deep mahogany stain (last photo), the natural wood modernizes this piece while paying homage to its origins. Handcut dovetailed drawers and 3 pieces of mahogany wood detail (one between the top two drawers and one at each corner between the bottom drawer and legs) make this dresser unique. The natural cracks and different varieties of color in the wood add to its charm. The top has been built using pegs/dowels, rather than screws. The insides of the drawers have been left original, but could easily be lined. The entire dresser has been sealed in a satin polyurethane. This dresser would make a beautiful addition to any space in many different styles of homes. Measures 43" wide, 41" high and 19" deep. Available for pickup in Falmouth.
