This gorgeous Lane (Altavista) cedar chest has been totally overhauled to make a sleek, modern statement in your space. Finished in Black by Wise Owl, the top has been stained in a beautiful American Walnut with hints of fiery red to complement the inside of the chest. 2 faux drawers and 1 functional drawer feature original, bar-style pulls and the old knobs across the top have been replaced with bright, gold-faceted geometric knobs. The brass cups around the feet have also been cleaned up to show their beauty. Manufactured in 1956, this cedar chest follows the aesthetics of Mid-Century style: clean lines and angular feet. The bottom drawer has a fun gold and black print and the cedar lining has plenty of life left to give. The entire piece has been finished in a satin coat to give it extra protection.
