This beautiful, vintage Drexel vanity is made of solid mahogany and mahogany veneer. It has been updated with a custom deep green paint on the bottom half. The paint pairs perfectly with the Colonial Maple (General Finishes) stain on top. The tone of the stain is a warm, rich mix of browns and reds. The vanity has a large, deep drawer on each side and the center opens up to reveal a storage compartment and mirror. The original hepplewhite pulls on the drawers have been updated in a chestnut color and the drawers themselves have been revived with Wise Owl Paint's lemon verbena furniture salve, plus Country Chic Paint's wax (to keep them opening and closing smoothly). The matching chair has been sanded and stained in Colonial Maple, and the seat has been reupholstered in a cactus/succulent print. Both pieces have been sealed with satin polyurethane. Please note, this piece has been previously loved and does show small signs of wear to be expected with furniture of its age. Photos will detail any imperfections.
