This sweet, vintage cedar chest was in excellent condition on the inside, but the outside had seen better days. After completion of the necessary repairs, we added brand new wood legs and painted the body in Black Beach by Shackteau Interiors (sealed with hemp oil). The top of the chest features white-washed pine boards, which have been sealed with several coats of satin polyurethane. 
Inside, the original cedar lining has been revived with a light, fresh sanding. This beautiful chest would make perfect storage at the foot of a bed or could be used as a coffee table in your living area. For safety reasons, the original latch inside the cedar chest has been removed, but the locking mechanism remains in tact. Measures 39.5" wide, 17.25" deep, and approximately 19" high.
