This stunning Eastlake-style oak washstand cabinet is a total gem! With beautiful carvings and antique tear drop pulls, it's a must-see in person. The top has been sanded down to raw oak and given a light paint wash in Lazy Linen by Country Chic Paint. The body has been painted in Dark Roast, a deep espresso with hints of charcoal gray. We updated the knob on the door to match the rest of the original hardware. Turn the knob to the cabinet door and the door will stay closed. The drawers have beautiful pin and cove joinery, indicating that this is piece is likely from the late 1800s. All drawers and doors open and close with ease. The entire piece has been sealed in a satin polyurethane. Measuring 30" wide, 16" deep, and 34½" to the top of the backsplash (27" without the backsplash), this would be a great piece for extra storage in a smaller space. The cabinet cubby measures approximately 13½" deep, 12½" wide and 14½" tall. Available for pickup in Falmouth.
