🩶 This stunning antique oak Eastlake dresser and mirror have been in Pumpkin Seed Designs' inventory since 2019. Originally purchased separately, the dresser and mirror make a perfect pair! The dresser had been partially painted with a creamy white chalk paint on the top and on every surface of one of the drawers. Two of the drawer pulls were missing, and the wooden drawer glides had seen better days. 
🩶 The top of the dresser has been sanded back to raw wood and given a custom paint wash, using a combination of Country Chic Paint's Soiree and Driftwood. The drawers and body have been painted in Wise Owl Paint's chalk synthesis paint in the color Weathervane. Described as a rich bronze that is a wonderful combo of cool dramatic gray and dark chocolate brown, this color changes a bit in different lighting. The drawer glides have been fixed to glide smoothly, with new stoppers added as needed. The drawer pulls were salvaged from another refinished piece and have been updated in an oil-rubbed bronze finish. The insides of the drawers have been lined with a beautiful silver leaf pattern.
🩶 The mirror frame has had some small structural repairs, and the mirror itself is brand new - replaced in 2024. The mirror sits into the back of the frame and is held in place with mirror clips. The oak mirror frame has also been painted in Weathervane, and the carved details on it are unmatched. It can be easily removed for transport.
🩶 Eastlake-style furniture was popular from roughly 1870 through the 1890s, inspired by English architect Charles Eastlake, and this piece doesn't miss the mark. This dresser boasts incredible oak keyhole covers, rabbet and tongue drawer joinery, and carved detail in the true style that is Eastlake furniture. Sealed in a water-based satin polyurethane, this beautiful work of art is ready for its next 100 years. Available for pickup in Windham, Maine. Please see detailed measurements below.
