This incredible trunk was used for shipments by the U.S. Marines. While it has been difficult to pinpoint an exact time frame on this piece, the origin destination in San Francisco seems to have been active until the 1960s. It has been given a deep clean along with a refresh to add some moisture back into the wood. 
The trunk has a great patina and is very clean inside. Bun feet have been added to give it a little height, making it an excellent coffee table size. It has a new lock, which could be utilized with a padlock if desired.
