🖤 This vintage Queen Anne-style cedar chest has been beautifully updated! Manufactured by John H. Pray & Sons in Boston, Massachusetts, this piece is made of beautiful mahogany wood.
🖤 The top of the chest was sanded down, bleached, and given a custom paint wash to neutralize the red hues from the mahogany wood and the previous stain. The body and legs of the chest have been painted in Jet Black, a stunning true black by Wise Owl Paint.
🖤 Updated antique bronze bail pulls adorn the four faux drawers. The top of the chest is sealed in satin polyurethane for extra durability.
🖤 The inside of the chest has been completely refreshed with cedar oil and smells fantastic. While the lock is intact, the latch on this chest has been removed for child safety. This piece is incredibly well crafted and boasts copper hinges, as well as the original copper lock.
