**SOLD**
This vintage pair of solid wood Singer brand sewing cabinets received a modern update using the color Jacob's Well, a deep, hunter green. The cabinet on the left has had the veneer stripped from the top, while the one on the right received a careful sanding to preserve the original wood (before updating it). The tops on both tables have been given a custom treatment to achieve a dark yet warm tone that strikes the perfect balance between rich brown and red mahogany. The hue of the tops complements the green paint wonderfully, and new champagne bronze knobs on the drawer fronts complete the look.
The sewing machines have been removed from the cabinets, and the tops sealed shut, however; the doors on the front of each table tilt open to provide a bit of extra storage.
The tables have been sealed in a water-based satin polyurethane, and the back sides are also painted. This leggy duo would look fantastic on either side of a taller bed. Detailed measurements can be found below. The price is for the set, which can be picked up in Windham, Maine (near the high school). Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind pair!
