**SOLD**
This vintage set of solid wood sewing cabinets (New Home on the left, Sears Roebuck on the right) received a stately update using the color Basilisk Black, a moody "almost black" that has hints of blue and charcoal gray depending on the lighting. The door on each table has been carefully sanded and stained using Behr Paint's Red Mahogany. The hardware on the doors is original, and it has been cleaned and painted in a lovely gold tone.
The sewing machines have been removed from the cabinets, and the tops sealed shut, however; the doors on the front of each table open to provide a bit of extra storage. The door on the table with the ring pulls swings down/forward to reveal an original cubby with two dividers, previously used for sewing notions. The door on the second table opens to the left, and upon opening it, you'll find an antique tobacco advertising box that was sourced separately by Pumpkin Seed Designs and added for both visual interest and storage.
The tables have been sealed in a water-based satin polyurethane, and the back sides are also painted. This regal pair would look stunning on either side of a taller bed. Detailed measurements can be found below. The price is for the set, which can be picked up in Windham, Maine (near the high school). Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind pair!
