This petite, vintage cabinet appears to have been hand-built using solid pine wood. To give it a little more height and visual appeal, solid wood legs were added to the bottom. The legs have been sealed in polyurethane to maintain the light tone of the wood. The inside and outside of the cabinet has been painted in Nautical, a bright royal blue. A new backer board was added and lined with a fun black and white geometric print. The original hinges and latch have been painted in a clean black. To tie the look together, a black and white knob was added to the glass door. Although this piece was built with a single stationary shelf, it offers plenty of space for books, knickknacks, or a combination of the two. It has been sealed in a satin polyurethane for protection and a hint of sheen.
