This beautiful vintage oak washstand cabinet has been given a fresh look! The top and towel bar have been sanded down to raw wood and were given a custom paint wash to lighten and even the tones. The body and drawer have been painted in Liquorice, a rich, deep black shade from Country Chic Paint. 
The inside of the cabinet has a new bottom with a moody floral liner that matches the liner inside of the dovetailed drawer. To finish the look, the entire piece has been sealed in a satin polyurethane. Bright gold knobs adorn the door and drawer, and the doors close with a magnet. The towel bar can be removed if desired.
 
As an added bonus, the purchase of this piece includes an antique ironstone bowl and pitcher. The bowl was manufactured by Mellor & Co. and dates between 1894 to 1910. The pitcher doesn't have any markings but has beautiful crazing and some imperfections consistent with age. Additional photos are available upon request.
