**SOLD**
This stunning vintage dresser got a complete overhaul! Damaged veneer was removed from virtually every surface to reveal solid wood underneath. Made of a combination of oak and maple woods, this dresser was sanded smooth and then given a custom paint wash to even out the wood tones. The drawers have a pretty carved pattern that carries through the entire design of the dresser. The legs are solid maple and have turned details. The drawers are dovetailed, and the drawer fronts are full of charm and character, including some wormholes that were hiding under the veneer (don't worry - no worms here)!
The drawers have been repaired extensively so that they open and close well for a piece of this age. Each drawer has been lined with a floral print featuring a dark green background, and the inside of the dresser has been refreshed with a lemon verbena scented furniture tonic, adding moisture back into the wood grain. Antique brass knobs and satin polyurethane pull the look together. The beautiful back splash (removable if desired) has also had veneer removed and was hand-sanded to match the rest of the dresser.
This piece would be stunning in any room and offers great storage! Available for pickup in Windham, Maine, near the high school. Please see detailed measurements below:
