Beautifully made of solid oak, this serpentine-style dresser was missing the bottom drawer. To remedy the problem, I added shelving and a divider to create space for two woven sea grass baskets. After sanding down the top and repairing the drawers, the dresser was painted in Sea Salt by Wise Owl Paint. Gray, blue, green, and white combine to produce a color that seems to change throughout the day, depending on the sun's influence. Sea Salt is a coastal chic shade that pairs well with whites and cool neutrals. The color is lovely against the top of the dresser and the insides of the drawers, which have been lined in a beige and white botanical pattern. 
 
New keyhole covers were added, along with antique bronze-toned bail pulls on the drawers. The sides of the drawers have dovetails in the front and dowel joinery in the back, indicating that this dresser leans to the older side of vintage and may even be antique.  
 
The drawers glide with ease, and the baskets (included with purchase) are removable for easy access. The insides of the drawers have been refreshed with a lightly scented lemon verbena furniture tonic. This piece would be lovely in a coastal-themed home, in a child's bedroom, or even under a television as an extra storage piece. Available for pickup in Windham, Maine, near the high school.
