🩶 These handsome, vintage, solid maple nightstands were manufactured by Moosehead of Monson, Maine. To modernize the look, the original legs have been swapped out for 4" black metal legs. The body, drawers, and cubby spaces have been painted in a color called Wellington by Fusion Mineral Paint. Depending on the lighting, this color can have hints of gray, green, blue, and even a very subtle bronze. It is described as "bold and enchanting." The tops of the nightstands have been sanded down to raw maple and given a very light custom paint wash to even out the wood tones. The color of the tops plays beautifully against the paint color. 
 
🩶 The dovetailed drawers glide with ease on their original wood tracks, and the insides of the drawers have been lined with a modern black and white geometric print. The original hardware has been replaced with a single matte black drum knob with a knurled pattern around the edging. Both pieces have been sealed in a satin polyurethane for extra durability and a great sheen. 
 
🩶 This set would be great for a smaller bedroom and could potentially even function as end tables in a living room. They offer great storage between the drawers and the cubby space and fit in well with a modern aesthetic. Available for pickup in Windham, Maine, near the high school. Price is for the pair.
