🤍 This lovely solid oak washstand has been sanded down to raw wood and sealed with a water-based satin polyurethane to preserve the wood tones. This piece is an antique and has heavy elements of Eastlake style influence, as evidenced by the carvings on the sides and the trim across the bottom of the front. The drawers are made with beautiful dovetail joinery, and they open and close well for their age.
 
🤍 The insides of the drawers have been refreshed with an unscented furniture tonic to add moisture back into the wood. The drawers have been lined with a white and beige print that nicely complements the wood. New antique bronze bail pulls have been added to the drawers, and a knob in a matching tone adorns the door to the cubby space. The wood inside of the cubby has also been revived with unscented furniture tonic, and a magnet holds the door closed.
🤍 This washstand cabinet offers great extra storage! The caster wheels are original and could be removed if desired. This piece would be fantastic in any space due to the neutral color scheme.
