💙 This beautiful solid maple table seems to have been crafted in mission style, a design that emphasizes simple horizontal and vertical lines and flat panels. At one time, this piece was likely a small vanity, as evidenced by the screw holes on the back side, which held a harp for a mirror.
💙 The top of the table has been sanded down to raw maple and given a light paint wash to accentuate the wood tones. The body and drawers have been painted in Willowbank by Fusion Mineral Paint. This color is described by the paint company as a classic navy with a vibrant twist, and it's a lovely combination of blue and green.
💙 The dovetailed drawers glide well and have been lined with a pretty print featuring a water scene with egrets and cattails. The hardware on the drawers has been updated with a beautiful, heavy-duty antique brass knob featuring a scroll work design. The entire piece has been sealed in a satin polyurethane for extra durability.
This piece would be fantastic in an entryway, as a console table, or even as a small writing desk. The back side has also been painted so that it does not need to be flushed against a wall.
