This stunning, large antique oak dresser has been updated in a style that will elevate any space in your home! After several rounds of sanding (and detail sanding), the dresser was given a custom paint wash to even out the tones of the wood grain. It was then sealed with a satin polyurethane to add protection and a little bit of sheen.
The beautiful joinery on the drawers of the dresser indicates that it was likely built sometime between 1870 and 1890, and it is in excellent condition for its age. The drawers have been lined with a deep, moody floral print, and each drawer opens and closes with ease. In addition to the joinery, this piece has lovely keyhole details on each drawer. The drawer pulls have been salvaged from another refinished piece of furniture and were cleaned and painted in an oil-rubbed bronze.
This dresser is a fantastic size with two large drawers on top and two modest drawers underneath. It sits on caster wheels that could likely be removed, but they function well and provide a little extra height. Don't miss out on this beautiful piece of antique furniture with a modern twist!
