These vintage solid maple end tables were manufactured by Moosehead Furniture of Monson, Maine. Hexagonal in shape, they feature a wood base that has been sanded down to raw maple and given a light paint wash. The tables have two doors that open to provide ample storage. 
The pair has been painted in Jet Black, a true deep black with very little undertones (by Wise Owl Paint). The original door hardware has been replaced with classic drop pulls, and the door hinges have been sprayed satin black to help them blend in a bit. The insides of the cabinet spaces have been refreshed with an unscented furniture tonic, and the doors close with a magnet. Both pieces have been sealed with a satin polyurethane.
