🩷 This sweet, solid oak wash stand had seen some better days when it came to Pumpkin Seed Designs. The door had completely split, and only a chunk was left hanging on the hinges, with the other 75% of the door inside the cabinet. 
🩷 After repairing the door along with some of the drawers, the top of the wash stand was sanded back to raw oak and given a light paint was in Country Chic's Driftwood.
🩷 The body and drawers were painted in Country Chic's Ooh La La, a delicate blush pink. One of the original handles on the drawer had broken, so the hardware was replaced with bail pulls salvaged from another furniture restoration. A new gold knob was added to the door, and a magnet was installed to keep the door latched properly when closed.
🩷 The dovetailed drawers have been lined with a pretty floral print, and the entire piece has been sealed with water-based satin polyurethane. This lovely pink piece has 3 drawers and a cubby, providing plenty of storage. It would look beautiful in a child's room. It would be perfect for someone who loves pink. It could function very well as an oversized bedside table and could also be used in a smaller nook space that needs a little something.
🩷 Casters could easily be re-added if desired, for easier movement and a little more height. The back side of the wash stand has been left original, so this piece would look best with the back flushed up against a wall.
