This fantastic window bench seat was manufactured by Drexel and is made of solid mahogany. It was worse for the wear - dirty and damaged by water - and needed an entirely new seat and cushion.
 
After a good cleaning and some reinforcements, I cut a new piece of wood for the seat and chose a dark plaid print for the fabric. The original toe caps were removed, cleaned, and repainted a bright, crisp gold. The bench itself has been painted in Coal Black and sealed with a satin polyurethane for extra durability.
 
This handsome piece is ready for your home! Due to the age of the bench, it would be best suited as an accent piece. Available for pickup in Windham, Maine, near the high school. Please see detailed measurements below:
