**SOLD**
This stunning pine washstand cabinet dates to the late 19th century, as evidenced by the pin and cove drawer joinery and hand-forged nails used in the design. It has been sanded down to raw wood and sealed with a satin polyurethane. The pine wood has a warm glow and beautiful details to the grain. The cabinet has a removable backsplash, which features two candle holders. The drawer has two lovely carved walnut pulls, and the inside has been lined with a floral print that complements the tones of the wood.
An Eastlake-style knob on the cabinet door revolves to latch into the left door. A magnet has been added to the inside of the left door to ensure a more solid closure of the cabinet space. The inside of the cabinet has been treated with an unscented furniture tonic to help add moisture back into the wood. A gorgeous addition to any space, this washstand offers a mixture of both modern and antique elements. It would be excellent for extra storage in most any space, and it's easy on the eyes!
