They just don't make pieces like this anymore! Manufactured by the Heywood-Wakefield Company in December of 1963, this pair was solidly built but needed to be updated. We removed and filled the wooden plugs, sanded the top drawer down to natural wood and painted the remainder of each piece in Charleston Green- a stunning, moody shade by Wise Owl Paint. New gold knobs give this set a simple but modern look. All of the drawers have been refreshed with Wise Owl's Lemon Verbena salve- this not only smells great, but it adds moisture back into the wood, too! Sealed in a matte polyurethane, the sheen on these tables is just beautiful. Don't let the photos fool you, this pair is larger than they look! They are also made of solid wood and are quite heavy. Measuring 24.75" wide, 19.25" deep and 30.25" tall, they're the perfect candidates for oversized nightstands in a master suite or for smaller dressers wherever you might need them.
