This beautifully moody, low 2-drawer chest has been given a Pottery Barn/Crate & Barrel inspired update. Estimated to be from the 19th century and made of maple, it was sanded down to raw wood and given a beautiful wash with Shackteau Interiors Milk Paint in the color Black Beach. The result is a warm, dramatic, smoky gray-brown finish. The sleek cup pulls complete the look. The drawers are dovetail joinery, and the insides of the drawers have been refreshed with a lightly scented lemon verbena furniture tonic. It has been sealed with a combination of matte and satin polyurethane. The chest measures 42" wide, 20" deep and 23" high. A versatile piece with lots of storage, it would be perfect underneath a windowsill or in a smaller nook-type space. This piece is a MUST SEE in person! Available for pickup in Falmouth.
