We have a soft spot for pine chests! This beautiful dresser is very likely an antique based on its joinery- several hand cuts and hand forged nails were used to build it. The previous finish was a deep orange with a heavy, glossy finish and wood knobs that seemed to have been replaced at some point in the life of the dresser. We sanded the entire piece down and completed several repairs to make it more structurally sound, then we gave the entire piece a wash with Magnolia Pier by Shackteau Interiors. The insides of the drawers have been refreshed with an unscented furniture tonic and updated knobs adorn each drawer. Sealed with a satin polyurethane, it has the perfect amount of sheen. Measuring 38" wide, 16.5" deep and 32" high, you could use this chest in many different ways! Available for pickup in Falmouth.
