This beautiful, antique serpentine dresser is made of solid wood and features 4 drawers in a two-over-two layout with a gorgeous oval mirror. The top 2 drawers have lovely curves to complement the mirror. After lots of repairs (each drawer needed to be rebuilt and 2 of the 4 needed new bottoms) and sanding, this dresser has been given a stunning makeover in Wise Owl Paint's Black. It has been sealed with water-based satin polyurethane. The drawer pulls were salvaged from another dresser and they have been updated in a clean, bright gold. New keyhole inserts (from D. Lawless Hardware) were added to give this piece a classic, sleek look. All of the drawers have been lined with a silvery gray floral print to add to the charm of the piece. The drawers open and close with ease. This piece would feel incomplete without the addition of the large, oval mirror. The mirror does show some signs of wear, but is still in great shape for its age. It is also removable for easy transportation.
