The goal with this piece was to match it to the blue/gray hutch with its original layered, chippy paint, and patina. 
To achieve this look, a combination of Shackteau Interiors milk paint in Coastal Gray and Black Beach, along with The Real Milk Paint Co. milk paint in Willow was used. It was sealed with Good Ol' Brown Wax from The Real Milk Paint Co.
The trim details and top of the cedar chest were updated using Coffee gel stain by Minwax .
